This right here is probably the best thing anyone has ever done for me. My boyfriend and I created a bucketlist and talked about how amazing it would be to put a lock on one of the lock bridges in Paris. After a few weeks I kind of forgot about us talking about it because, being only 20 years old we knew we weren’t going to Paris anytime soon.

For a month or so my boyfriend talked about having a surprise for me, I had absolutely no idea what it could be. Last night he took me out to the beach and handed me a key. He insisted on having me throw it into the water. Still clueless I did it then asked why. Then he showed me these pictures. A friend of ours is currently living in France and he sent the lock out to her to put on the bridge. Two keys were made for the lock, one currently in the river in Paris, and one here back home.

I can’t even describe how amazing this was to me, and I’m sorry for rambling but I can’t get across how someone could think of doing something like this. That lock will never come off of that bridge, no matter what, a piece of us being together will always be preserved in Paris.

I love my best friend, my boyfriend, more than anything in the world.
